I took the NCLEX on Tuesday. I stopped at 145 questions. Did the PVT trick and got the “good pop up”. One of my nursing buddies said the pop up was accurate for him and other nursing students in my cohort. I should know if I passed today when my quick results become available.
Took the courage to do the PVT trick 2 hours after I finished and I got the GOOD POP UP!. Tried it twice, 1st with wrong security code, 2nd with wrong expiration date. 😭😭😭 ... It looks like the trick had changed. I took NCLEX-RN yesterday, got cut off at 85q. In 3 hrs tried the PVT. Regardless the correct vs incorrect CVV and exp. date the website will refer you to you bank to send a confirmation text. I got a "good" pop-up with correct CVV and exp. date. and vague and "bad-looking" pop-up with wrong info.

The “good” pop up would say something along the lines of you already registered and they’re unable to register you at this time (you passed). The “bad” pop up is if it says your card info is declined (you failed). Though there have been stories that people got the bad pop up and still passed. I got the bad pop up and failed though.
I've been saying forever and a day that the PVT isn't always accurate, and one shouldn't rely on it as proof of passing or failing. All it does is make you more stressed out. ...
