I see several companies that sell hardward to install one of these. It looks like you'd use a fine saw to cut the cheek riser shape out of the main stock.

I cut the cheek riser out with a hand coping saw and a chisel for the cheek riser and a hand drill. It would be a prettier if I had the proper tools. 1Rudedawg I did not have to fit the riser. Plenty of height in the stock. One thing I can say is that this riser makes a world of difference to me in the comfort and cheek weld on my stock.
